Kangana Ranaut, Sharmila Tagore: BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut is often in the news for her outspoken statements. Whatever may be the issue, Kangana does not shy away from presenting her point of view. Meanwhile, Kangana has now given her reaction on actress Sharmila Tagore’s statement on Vande Mataram. Let us know what Kangana has to say about this?
Kangana Ranaut shared the post
Actually, Kangana Ranaut has posted a story on her Instagram, in which she has written a long note. Kangana has put a screenshot of Sharmila’s interview in this post and has written that I appreciate that Sharmila ji has expressed her objection regarding ‘Vande Mataram’, but being an artist, I wonder how her thinking about art or poetry can be so limited and artificial.
What did Kangana say?
He said that the words in any poem or song are metaphors. A poet or artist uses various types of imagery and striking comparisons to create the desired effect. ‘Vande Mataram’ is the spirit of the freedom struggle. Bankim Chandra ji is inspiring the country to awaken the power within itself. How can you call such a great piece of art just a religious ritual?
Kangana’s reaction
Further he wrote that Vivekananda had famously said that he wanted such youth, whose bodies were made of iron and bones and in whose veins ran power like electricity and he was not telling about the condition of the weather but was talking about awakening the power. Please get out of Hindu-Muslim thinking.
Kangana’s statement
Kangana wrote that even though we believe in one God, doctors also call strength ‘Shakti’. Let us embrace each other as our own. I love you very much and I don’t mind a big hug from you, like you always do.
Sharmila Tagore’s statement
It is noteworthy that in an interview given to IANS, Sharmila Tagore had said that I believe that many religious people believe in only one God and not in many gods. There is a verse in ‘Vande Mataram’, in which many gods are mentioned, it is difficult for people who follow the same religion to say ‘Vande Kali, Vande Durga’. Therefore, if we take along people of all religions of India, then the first two verses are very good. Kangana’s reaction has come on this statement of Sharmila.
