Noted industrialist Karan Adani, CEO of Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd, met Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Loka Seva Bhawan today to discuss avenues for industrial collaboration and infrastructure development in the state.
The meeting centred on port modernisation, logistics connectivity, and renewable‑energy initiatives, aligning with Odisha’s vision for sustainable industrial growth. Sources said the Chief Minister assured full support for projects that generate employment and strengthen coastal trade.
Adani expressed interest in expanding operations in Dhamra Port and exploring new investment corridors across Odisha’s mineral and coastal belts. The discussion also touched upon skill development and local community engagement under corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs.
