New Delhi. The incident of firing on actor Tiger Shroff's car has raised eyebrows in the film industry. According to the report, three unknown attackers riding a bike fired three to four rounds at Igar's car. At the time of the incident, TV actor and Bigg Boss 18 winner Karanvir Mehra's car was also behind Tiger's car. About an hour after the incident, Karanvir told about the situation at that time in an interview. He said that the people present there were frightened by this sudden incident.
'When the vehicle arrived, blood stains were seen'
Karanvir Mehra told Zoom that his car was right behind Tiger Shroff's car. According to him, when he came out of the gate and his car reached the spot, blood stains were seen there. Later they came to know that the driver of Tiger had been shot.
Karanvir expressed relief that Tiger was safe and expressed concern about the driver's injury. He expressed hope that the driver will get well soon. According to Karanvir, children were also present at the spot, who were celebrating a birthday party. Suddenly, hearing the sound of gunshots, there was chaos and people started running here and there to protect themselves.
Bullets were heard amid the sound of firecrackers
Karanvir told that he plays football with Tiger Shroff in Juhu area of Mumbai and has known him for a long time. However, he could not see the attackers during the firing.
According to him, many people were present around the spot and some people were taking photographs. Meanwhile, suddenly loud sounds were heard and people started shouting that firing had taken place. Firecrackers were also being burst nearby, so there was confusion regarding the sounds in the initial moments. Later, when people spoke about the firing, the security personnel deployed there realized the seriousness of the matter. After this the police was informed.
Driver's left hand injured, CCTV footage examined
According to the report, Tiger Shroff's driver Firdaus got injured in his left hand in the firing. He was admitted to the hospital. Mumbai Police is investigating the matter and footage from nearby CCTV cameras is being scrutinized to identify the attackers.
Citing ballistics tests, the report said the bullets were fired from close range. Several police teams have been deployed to investigate the matter. The reason behind the firing and the identity of the attackers can be confirmed only after the investigation is completed.
'I have known Tiger for so many years'
Karanvir Mehra also expressed his concern towards Tiger Shroff regarding this incident. He said that he has known Tiger for a long time and in his eyes, Tiger is a good person, who focuses on his work and treats others with respect.
Karanvir said that it is sad and stressful for him too to see Tiger and his family going through such a situation. He told that he is also well acquainted with Tiger's family.
Claim of taking responsibility in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi gang
After the firing incident, the name of Lawrence Bishnoi gang has also come into discussion. In an audio clip, a man claiming to be Anil Pandit, younger brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the attack. Another person named Harman Sandhu is also mentioned in the audio.
The audio also revealed threats to those working in the film industry and working with Salman Khan. However, the authenticity of the audio, the identity of the person speaking in it, and its connection to the attack have not been independently confirmed. These claims remain to be investigated.
Salman Khan has received threats before also
Lawrence Bishnoi's name has already come up in cases of threats to Salman Khan. This controversy has also been related to the issue of black deer hunting. In the year 2018, the trial court had convicted Salman Khan in this case, against which he has challenged in the Rajasthan High Court.
In the year 2024, Baba Siddiqui, a leader considered close to Salman Khan, was shot dead outside his house. In that case also, a claim of taking responsibility from Bishnoi gang had come forward.
