Kargil Vijay Diwas: President, Vice President and Prime Minister paid tribute to the brave warriors of the Indian Army.

New Delhi, 26 July. On ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ the entire country is paying tribute to the bravery and courage of the brave soldiers of the Indian Army. On this occasion, President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President CP Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have also paid tribute to the brave warriors.

President Draupadi Murmu wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, ‘On Kargil Vijay Diwas, I pay my humble tribute to the brave warriors who sacrificed their lives to protect the motherland. Their unmatched bravery, unwavering determination and unwavering patriotism are excellent examples of the glorious tradition of our Army. The country will always be indebted to him. The story of bravery of our brave heroes will continue to inspire the coming generations to follow the path of national service and devotion to duty.

Vice President CP Radhakrishnan posted, ‘On Kargil Vijay Diwas, the nation pays tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces whose extraordinary valor, unwavering resolve and supreme sacrifice ensured India’s historic victory in the Kargil War and safeguarded the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country.’

He further wrote, ‘This victory is a proof of India’s military power, national unity and unwavering resolve to protect every nook and corner of our motherland. The country will always be indebted to these brave soldiers of ours and their families. Jai Hind.’

At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in the ‘X’ post, ‘On Kargil Vijay Diwas, our country expresses gratitude to those brave soldiers who showed indomitable courage and dedication for the security of India. His indomitable courage even in the most difficult circumstances will always remain a source of national pride. His unwavering patriotism and devotion to duty will continue to inspire generations.

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar posted, ‘On Kargil Vijay Diwas, saluting the courage and bravery of our brave soldiers protecting the country. His service and sacrifice will always be remembered.
