1. If you do not have the idols of Lord Shiva, Parvati and Karva Mata in your house, then buy their beautiful idols.
2. Buy Chunari and pearl beads to offer to the idols of Gods and Goddesses.
3. Buy a small post for the installation of Lord Shiva, Parvati and Karva Mata.
4. Buy red or yellow cloth to lay on the stool.
5. Buy earthen pot i.e. kalash and copper kalash.

7. Buy roli, kumkum, vermillion, akshat, earthen lamps, ghee and cotton wicks.

9. Buy raw milk, curd and sweets on 29th October to offer Bhog. Along with this, also buy marigold flowers to offer to the Gods and Goddesses.
