During the show, Kamaljeet Singh told about his terrible accident which had completely changed his happy life. In July 2009, when he was leaving for office in his car, an auto-rickshaw hit his car hard. He suffered serious injuries in this accident and lost his eyesight. He told that for the first 7 days he thought that he could not see because he was blindfolded, but when he came to know the reality, the ground slipped under his feet. At that time his daughter was only 4 years old and his son was only 4 months old. Kamaljeet said with tears in his eyes that his world had been ruined, he still remembers the same small form of his children, but he is no longer able to see his children when they grow up.
‘My wife is like Lord Krishna to me’
Praising his wife Vishwajeet Kaur Chahak, Kamaljeet said that if she wanted, she could have left him in this difficult time, because it would have been easy for her to do so. But he did not do so and supported him at every step. Kamaljeet said emotionally, ‘Just as Krishna was Arjun’s charioteer in the Mahabharata, similarly my wife has played the role of Krishna in my life.’ He told that an attempt was made to get treatment from the best doctor of America, but the eyes were so badly damaged that the doctor clearly said that now the vision cannot be restored. However, Kamaljeet still has hope that in the coming time some such technology will definitely come which will enable him to see his world again.

When Amitabh Bachchan asked Kamaljeet’s wife about his days of struggle, she told that after the accident, Kamaljeet had forgotten how to eat, walk and even wear clothes.
