Keshav Maurya’s big claim after Rajbhar, said – 25-26 MPs of SP are ready to change sides

Lucknow: Once again the phase of rhetoric has intensified in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has claimed that many Samajwadi Party MPs are preparing to leave the party. While talking to the media in Kanpur, he said that about 25 to 26 MPs of SP are dissatisfied at present and there may be a major split in the party in the coming times.

What did the Deputy CM say?

Giving the example of division of political parties in other states, the Deputy CM said that just as there were divisions in some parties from time to time, similarly internal dissatisfaction is increasing in the Samajwadi Party too. Not only this, he also said that BJP is not trying to break any party, but there can be a situation of change within SP by the 2027 assembly elections.

Minister Om Prakash targeted the opposition

Meanwhile, a social media post by state government minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has also fueled political discussions. Rajbhar claimed that a big political development may soon be seen in the Samajwadi Party. Referring to old controversies and alleged scams, he has targeted the opposition party. Minister Manoj Pandey also said that many SP leaders are not satisfied with the working style of the party.

dismissed the allegations

However, these allegations and claims have been completely rejected by the Samajwadi Party. Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, Mata Prasad Pandey has termed the statements of BJP leaders as political propaganda. He said that such things are being said to make the opposition look weak. SP leader Ravidas Mehrotra also claimed that no leader of the party will join BJP and Samajwadi Party will perform strongly in the upcoming elections.

heated political atmosphere

Meanwhile, Keshav Prasad Maurya also reacted to the issue of money missing from the donation box of Ram temple. He said that investigation into the case is ongoing and strict legal action will be taken against anyone found guilty. He assured that the investigation is being conducted with complete transparency and no culprit will be spared. At present, the political atmosphere of Uttar Pradesh seems to be continuously heating up amidst the claims being made about a possible break in SP and the counter attacks of the opposition.
