Ketan Agarwal Murder Case: Pune’s famous Ketan Agarwal Murder Case Another painful incident has come to light. Devichand Agarwal, 71, grandfather of 21-year-old Ketan Agarwal, who was allegedly murdered after being thrown from Lohagarh Fort, also passed away. The family says that he could not bear the shock of his grandson’s death and after his health deteriorated continuously, he suffered a cardiac arrest.

Ketan’s uncle Kuldeep Aggarwal told that his father kept the grief of his grandson’s death hidden within himself. He did not express his feelings to anyone until the funeral and the thirteenth day, but after that his health started deteriorating rapidly. Ultimately, within 17 days the family suffered a second major loss.

The family says that now they have only one demand that all the accused involved in this case should be given the harshest punishment, i.e. hanging, so that the souls of both Ketan and his grandfather can rest in peace.

What is the whole matter?

1. This case is of June 18, when Ketan Aggarwal died after falling from the famous Lohagarh Fort of Pune. Initially it was considered an accident, but during police investigation the matter turned towards alleged conspiracy and murder.
2. According to the police, the main accused Siya Goyal, who was engaged to Ketan, was not ready for this marriage. Investigation revealed that she had allegedly got engaged under family pressure and that is why she along with her friend Chetan Chaudhary planned to remove Ketan from the way.
3. During the investigation, the police have collected many important evidences. Police claim that Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary had rehearsed the entire plan in an open field in Lullanagar area of ​​Pune before the incident.
4. The police have done crime scene recreation by taking both the accused to different incident sites and rehearsal places. To understand the sequence of events from Chetan Chaudhary, a dummy equal to Ketan’s weight was used.
5. The clothes worn on the day of the incident have also been recovered from Siya Goyal’s house.
6. The police is connecting the links of the entire conspiracy on the basis of technical and forensic evidence.
7. Siya Goyal’s father Praveen Goyal said that the police had definitely come to their house, but they were not interrogated. He told that his health is bad and he is not in a position to say anything on this matter at present.
8. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the Maharashtra government has approved a fast-track court to hear this case. Also, senior advocate and Rajya Sabha MP Ujjwal Nikam has been appointed Special Public Prosecutor.
9. At present Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary are arrested and the police is investigating the entire incident.
10. Officials say that all forensic and digital evidence is being analyzed before filing the charge sheet.
