High-tech features can be found in Syros EV

So far, Kia’s upcoming Syros EV has been spotted several times testing on Indian roads. After launch, it will be the fourth electric car of Kia India after Carens Clavis EV, EV6 and EV9. It is expected that its boxy design will remain like the existing petrol Syros but it may get EV-specific design updates, new aerodynamic alloy wheels and attractive color options. Talking about the features, it is likely to get premium features like 30-inch Trinity display, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, dashcam and level-2 ADAS. At present the company has not shared information related to its battery and range.

Sorento Hybrid can challenge Fortuner

Sorento Hybrid, which comes in the hybrid segment, also remains a topic of discussion. This three-row SUV has been spotted testing in India. It is expected that when launched, it will be Kia’s flagship ICE-based SUV and will place it in the category above Seltos. Not only this, this 4,815 mm long SUV can be found in both 6 and 7-seater options. Apart from this, premium features like panoramic sunroof, Bose audio system, ventilated seats, multi-zone climate control and level-2 ADAS are also expected to be provided.

Talking about the engine featured in the car, Self-Charging Hybrid (HEV) is considered to be the strongest option in it. But the company can also introduce plug-in hybrid or petrol variants in the future. In terms of price, it can give tough competition to SUVs like Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tayron and Jeep Meridian.
