Kiara Advani thanks Yash, Geetu Mohandas for bringing out her ‘fearless’ side

Kiara Advani has expressed heartfelt gratitude to her leading man, Yash, and director Geetu Mohandas for giving her the opportunity to portray Nadia in the upcoming action-packed film Toxic.

During the grand trailer launch of the highly anticipated film at a mall in Bengaluru on Saturday, August 8, the 35-year-old Indian actress heaped praise on the 40-year-old actor and 45-year-old director for believing in her to take on a challenging role unlike anything she has done before in her filmography.

“I truly believe that Geetu and Yash manifested for me to be Nadia in this film. They saw it in me and believed I was capable of this much before I knew about that fearless leap that I was ready to take as an actor. Today, when I watch every little bit of our film, I just want to say thank you,” Kiara said.

She further acknowledged Yash and Geetu for creating a space that allowed her to fully embrace her creativity, making it an unforgettable experience that she’ll forever treasure.

The Kabir Singh star added, “Thank you Geetu and thank you Yash for giving me a part that I know will be very special for me as an actor in my journey. I think there will be a Kiara before Toxic and a Kiara after Toxic. You have spoiled me and every actor on this film. What we’ve tasted is now going to make us want so much more and we’re just going to be so much more greedy with every film we step into.”

Without giving away details about her role, Kiara shared her excitement about showcasing a different side of herself on screen as Nadia.

“I cannot wait for the world to experience Nadia. I don’t think I can describe her in one word. So, I’m just going to let the audience go and experience it,” she remarked.

In addition to Kiara and Yash, Toxic features a star-studded ensemble cast, including Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi in major roles.
