King Charles lands in US, meets Trump after White House incident
British monarch King Charles has landed in US days after the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
President Trump spoke after the incident, that took place on April 26, saying he is still looking forward to meet the King.
The 77-year-old royal arrived in the North American nation on April 27 with his wife Queen Camilla on a state visit to mark the 250th anniversary of US independence.
The royal couple is on a state visit to US that will last four days.

They will meet the President and the First Lady for tea at the White House before attending a Garden Party.
This state visit comes after almost two decades since Queen Elizabeth landed in US in 2007 under the invitation of former President George Bush.
The visit marks an important step at a time when the US-UK diplomatic relationship is strained due to the ongoing was between US and Iran after President Donald Trump slammed UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Trump called out Starmer for refusing to assist the US militarily in the ongoing conflict.
