The Kings are trading Nique Clifford to the Thunder for two second-round picks, sources tell Shams Charania of ESPN (Twitter links).
The second-rounders heading to the Kings will be Utah’s in 2028 and Minnesota’s in 2030, per Sam Amick of The Athletic (Twitter link). Both of the picks were controlled by the Thunder from previous trades.
Charania hears Sacramento worked with Clifford to find a new home for the second-year wing, who was out of the team’s rotation this season.
The Thunder will have to clear a roster spot to add Clifford. The easiest player to waive would be Dalen Terrywho recently signed a non-guaranteed two-year deal with Oklahoma City, notes Rylan Stiles of SI.com (via Twitter).
