Koylanchal Super Kings lead Jharkhand T20 Cricket League standings

Koylanchal Super Kings and Santhal Strikers earned two vital points on Day 10 of the Jharkhand T20 Cricket League 2026.

The Super Kings defeated Dhanbad Diamonds via the VJD method to regain first place in the standings, while the Santhal Strikers secured a commanding win over Chota Nagpur Royals, moving into fifth place at the JSCA International Stadium Complex, according to a release.

In the afternoon match, rain reduced the game to 17 overs per side. Electing to field first, Koylanchal Super Kings restricted Dhanbad Diamonds to 151 for 7, with Player of the Match Junaid Ashraf taking 3 wickets for 19 runs. Ram Raushan Sharan top-scored for the Diamonds with 45 runs off 33 balls, and Bisesh Dutta contributed a rapid 44 runs from 24 balls.

Using the recalculated target under the VJD method, the Super Kings comfortably chased the revised total of 150 runs, reaching 151 for 3 in 15.4 overs, winning by seven wickets with 8 balls to spare. Lakshya scored 49 runs off 34 balls, supported by an unbeaten 29 not out off 15 balls from Robin Minz.

In the evening match, Chota Nagpur Royals chose to bat first but were bowled out for 128 on the last ball of their innings. MD Nazim Siddiqui and Himanshu Kumar Gupta both scored 23 runs, but the innings lacked momentum against a disciplined bowling attack. Player of the Match Manishi led the bowling for Santhal Strikers with figures of 4 wickets for 23 runs, while Shadab Hussain and Anmol Raj took two wickets each.

Chasing 129, the Santhal Strikers reached the target comfortably, finishing 129 for 3 in 13.1 overs. Vivek Kumar’s explosive 38 runs off 17 balls and Kumar Suraj’s 33 runs off 16 balls ensured a seven-wicket victory with 41 balls remaining. Chandan Kumar Mukhi’s two wickets for 10 runs was a lone positive for the Royals.
