Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab leader and MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal has expressed strong objection to the recent statement of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda's son and Congress MP Deepender Hooda, in which he described Sajjan Kumar, the main culprit of the 1984 Sikh massacre and murderer of Sikhs, as his role model and described him as a good person. Dhaliwal said that the entire Sikh community is very sad and shocked by this disgusting and insensitive statement of Deependra Hooda.
Sprinkle salt on the wounds of the victims
Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal has demanded from Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, senior leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi that Deependra Hooda, who is supporting the murderers of Sikhs, should be immediately expelled from the party without any delay. He said that there should be no place in any political party for such leaders who rub salt on the wounds of the victims of 1984.
should take to the streets
Along with this, Dhaliwal has also appealed to the Punjab Congress leaders by questioning their silence. He said that Punjab Congress leaders should take to the streets to prove their morality and demand the removal of Hooda from the central leadership. He clearly warned that if the leaders of Punjab Congress remain silent on this issue or do not oppose Hooda, then it will be considered that they are also supporting the anti-Sikh thinking of Deepender Hooda.
Anti-Sikh face came to the fore
Dhaliwal further said that this is not the first incident when the anti-Sikh face of Congress has come to the fore. Even before this, pictures of many senior Congress leaders with Jagdish Tytler, another accused in the massacre of Sikhs, have been going viral. This clearly shows that the murderers of Sikhs have always got protection and respect in the Congress Party. He reiterated that the only right step would be to immediately dismiss Deepender Hooda from the party, who has described a person like Sajjan Kumar as his role model.
