Mumbai: Lady Gaga and her fiancé, entrepreneur Michael Polansky, have welcomed their first child together.
According to Page Six, the couple were recently spotted with their newborn in Northern California, marking a new chapter for the singer and actress.
Lady Gaga, whose birth name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, was spotted at The Grove in Los Angeles in May before making her latest public appearance in August.
During her August outing in Northern California, she stopped to take a selfie with a fan.
The singer had wrapped up her Mayhem Ball tour in April after nearly nine months on the road. The global tour featured 86 shows across various cities worldwide.
Gaga had previously spoken about her desire to embrace motherhood. In a March 2025 interview with The New York Times, she described becoming a mother as her “ultimate goal.”
She reiterated her desire to start a family later that year during an appearance on The Stephen Colbert Show, where she said raising a child would be her next “starring role.”
Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky first sparked dating rumours in 2020 after they were photographed kissing at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas.
The couple later made their relationship public at the Super Bowl in Miami that same year.
In July 2024, Gaga confirmed her engagement to Polansky while speaking with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal during the Paris Olympics, as reported by People.
At the Los Angeles premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux, Gaga spoke fondly about Michael, saying, “I just love my fiancé so much. He is my best friend. He is my partner, and I just feel like when you are with your best friend, everything changes,” in an interaction with People.
Gaga has also previously praised Polansky, describing him as “so smart and so kind.”
In a conversation with Vogue US, she said, “I had never met anyone like Michael. He’s so smart and so kind. And his life and my life are very different. He’s a very private guy and he’s not with me for any other reason than that we are right for each other. But I think what I want my fans to know is that I’m just, like, so happy.”
