Ludhiana- With the aim of serving the needy people, Chinese langar was organized in Mohalla Guru Tej Bahadur Nagar, Makkhad Colony, Gaspura of Ward No. 33 of Halka Dakshina. This event was organized under the chairmanship of Ratnesh Singh, Deputy President of District Congress Committee Urban. During this, 2 quintals of sugar was distributed to the needy families on behalf of Madam Nikki Riyat, Deputy President of Mahila Congress. Mahila Congress Urban President Madam Surinder Kaur specially participated in the program as the chief guest.
He appreciated this social effort by distributing sugar to the needy people. On this occasion, Madam Nikki Riyat said that it is the responsibility of every capable person in the society to help the needy people. He said that his endeavor is to provide as much help as possible to the needy families and such service work will be continued in the future also.
Madam Surinder Kaur said that the Congress Party has always stood with the needy and weaker sections. Providing relief to needy people through social service works is a noble initiative. He said that Mahila Congress will also continue to carry forward the works of public service. A large number of area residents and Congress workers were present on this occasion.
