A case was registered against him in this matter last year in January 2025. When Lavkesh’s involvement came to light during the investigation, he was arrested. He remained in Tihar jail for about 15 days and was later released on bail.

Accountant and manager absconding after the accident

At present, Lavkesh Bajaj has been arrested in the fire incident of Malviya Nagar Hotel in Delhi. Hotel accountant Jai Mishra and manager Rakesh are also being searched in this incident. Jai Mishra is a resident of Chhatarpur, Delhi. But he is absconding after the hotel fire. Police are conducting raids in search of him. And collecting detailed information about it.

On Thursday, Lavkesh Bajaj was produced in a Delhi court, from where he was sent to four days police custody.

21 people lost their lives in the Delhi fire. Earlier officials had told that 47 people were evacuated safely from the hotel. Out of which 26 people are undergoing treatment. Many injured are being treated at AIIMS in Delhi. Which includes the policemen who became victims of the flames while trying to save the lives of people in that accident. Who were part of the rescue team who were the first to enter the burning building.
