He has sent his resignation to BJP National President Nitin Naveen and requested him to accept it. Shahzad informed about his decision through a social media post. Regarding his resignation, Shehzad Poonawala wrote on social media that he has once again submitted his resignation to BJP President Nitin Naveen with utmost humility, affection and gratitude.
