Cloudy skies and light rain or drizzle are expected in the capital, Delhi, today. This weather pattern is expected until August 14th. The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 24 degrees Celsius.
Rain Alert in UP and Bihar
Uttar Pradesh will experience the effects of rain today and tomorrow. Heavy rain is forecast for eastern Uttar Pradesh today and tomorrow, while heavy rain is possible at some places in western Uttar Pradesh on August 10th. Strong winds and lightning are also expected during this period.
Scattered rain will occur in some areas of Bihar until August 12th. Widespread heavy rain is expected in the state on August 13th and 14th. A heavy rain alert has been issued for some places today as well.
Heavy Rain Expected in These States
Widespread rain is expected in Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Odisha until August 14th. Jharkhand may experience heavy rain today and tomorrow, while Odisha may experience heavy rain tomorrow and the day after. Rainfall is also expected to continue in coastal Karnataka, Kerala, and Lakshadweep until August 14th. Heavy to very heavy rain is possible here today.
Orange Alert in Hilly States
A rain alert has been issued in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir until August 14th. An orange alert has been issued in Himachal Pradesh due to the possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in some areas on August 10th and 11th.
Rainfall is expected to continue in western Madhya Pradesh until August 12th and in eastern Madhya Pradesh until August 11th. Rain is also expected in parts of Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan.
