A big update regarding Lock Up Season 2 has come out. In 2022, the reality show ‘Lock Up’, known for its intense drama, returns with its second season. The release date of producer Ekta Kapoor’s show ‘Lock Up Season 2’ has been announced. The makers announced the new season through a special social media initiative. To show the concept and atmosphere of the show, masked prisoners were seen in various cities, and it was also announced that ‘Locked Up Season 2’ will premiere in the same month, on June 27, 2026. This has increased the curiosity about the contestants in the show. But the biggest question is, who will host the show this time?
Kangana Ranaut hosted the first episode of ‘Lock Up’ which aired in 2022. However, now she will not be a part of the show. Kangana Ranaut Though currently busy promoting her film ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’ releasing on June 12, she will become an MP from Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The previous edition was won by stand-up comedian and actor Munwar Farooqui.

OTT platforms changed
This time many changes will be seen in the new season of ‘Lock Up’. The first major change is that, while the previous season was streamed on OTT platform ALTT, this time the show will be streamed on Netflix. Yes, you can watch ‘Locked Up Season 2’ on Netflix from 27 June 2026 onwards.

Who is the host of Lock Upp Season 2?
For the past few days, there has been a lot of discussion about the director of ‘Lock Up Season 2’. The names of Govinda, Anil Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh are being discussed.
