However, the match came with a controversy that has sparked discourse that will follow for days and American youtuber Logan Paul has contributed his thoughts.
In the Quarter Final played on Saturday in Miami, the two European teams came head to head.
As Norway was leading with 1-0 in the first half, there came an opportunity for Norwegian player Alexander Sorloth to pass the ball to Haaland, who had one of the top scorer of the tournament.

However, Sorloth took the shot himself which ended up being defend by the English side.
Logan took to X to criticise Sorloth’s decision to not pass the ball to Haaland saying “I keep seeing that clip of the dude not passing the ball & I’m so gutted for Haaland.”
He added “The entire country of Norway lost because one guy wanted to have a moment.”
Defending his decision, Sorloth said in the moment he decided not to pass because the English defender was blocking his path.
