New Delhi: Amidst the already ongoing cyclone warning across the country, the Meteorological Department has now increased the concern of the people by issuing another big alert. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, tomorrow i.e. on September 22, a warning of torrential rain and strong thunderstorm has been issued in a total of 18 states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar. During this period, the wind speed can reach up to 80 kilometers per hour, due to which huge damage is expected in many areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of damage due to strong storm in many parts of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. There has also been a warning of landslides in the hilly states. Due to the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, the next 24 hours may be quite heavy in some states of Eastern India and South India. According to weather experts, monsoon is going to be fully active in north-west and north-east India for the next 6 to 7 days. Apart from this, cyclonic circulation of upper air is also present in south-west Madhya Pradesh and surrounding areas. A 'trough' is also present from southern Himachal Pradesh to east-central India and north-eastern Arabian Sea, which can worsen the weather further.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, a warning of severe thunderstorm with moderate to heavy rain has been issued in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu tomorrow. During this period the wind speed can range from 70 to 80 kilometers per hour. In some states, a drop of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius may also be seen in the temperature.
Light to moderate rain in Delhi

In Uttar Pradesh, warnings of heavy rain and thunderstorm have been issued in many districts including Ghaziabad, Meerut, Moradabad, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Varanasi and Gorakhpur, where the wind speed can reach up to 60 kilometers per hour. The maximum temperature in Lucknow tomorrow is expected to be 34 degrees and minimum 26 degrees Celsius. At the same time, alert of heavy rain and storm has been issued in many districts of Bihar including West Champaran, East Champaran, Siwan, Saran, Gaya, Gopalganj, Purnia, Katihar and Begusarai. The maximum temperature in Patna tomorrow is expected to be 31 degrees and minimum 27 degrees Celsius.

There is an alert of heavy rain and thunderstorm on September 22-23 in many districts of Jharkhand including Gumla, West Singhbhum, Dhanbad, Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Giridih, where the wind speed can be 40 to 45 kilometers per hour.
