LPG e-KYC deadline nears, Aadhaar Authentication will have to be done by 16th August, do KYC like this sitting at home

LPG e-KYC: Many LPG customers have shared information on social media about receiving messages regarding e-KYC from the gas company. Especially Indane customers are being asked to complete e-KYC by 16th August.

LPG e-KYC: This is an important update for customers using domestic LPG cylinders. The last date for completing e-KYC related to Aadhaar is said to be 16 August 2026. Many LPG customers are also receiving messages and alerts from gas companies in this regard. If e-KYC is not done on time, there may be difficulty in getting LPG cylinder at domestic prices and it is being said that commercial rates will be applicable till the process is completed.

Customers are receiving e-KYC messages

Many LPG customers have shared information on social media about receiving messages regarding e-KYC from the gas company. Especially Indane customers are being asked to complete e-KYC by 16th August. Customers can complete this process from the IndianOil ONE app sitting at home. Apart from this, e-KYC can also be done at the time of delivery of gas with the help of the delivery employee or your nearest Indane distributor.

How to do e-KYC of Indane-Bharat Gas and HP Gas?

To complete e-KYC, customers will have to use the official mobile app of their gas company. Indane customers can use IndianOil ONE, Bharat Gas customers can use Bharatgas and HP Gas customers can use HP Pay app. After logging into the app with the mobile number linked to the LPG connection, the required information will have to be filled. AadhaarFaceRD app may also be required for Aadhaar based verification.

Verify mobile number with OTP

After logging into the app, the number will have to be verified with the OTP received on the registered mobile number. After this the LPG connection can be linked or accessed from the app. Indane customers can be asked for 16 digit LPG ID to link LPG account, while the option of e-KYC is given directly in Bharat Gas and HP Gas apps.

The option of e-KYC can be found at different places in the apps of different gas companies. Indane customers can find this option in the My Profile section. The option of e-KYC is available on the homepage of Bharat Gas app. Whereas HP Gas customers can start the process of e-KYC by going to the LPG section of HP Pay app.
