LPG Cylinder Price 31 October : Amidst the preparations for the festive season and Diwali, the situation regarding cylinder prices has become clear for LPG consumers. During festivals, the demand for LPG increases significantly due to the preparation of dishes and sweets in homes, in such a situation, before refilling the cylinder, it is important to know whether there is an additional burden on the pocket or whether the prices are stable. According to the latest rates released by oil marketing companies (OMCs)—like Indian Oil (Indane), Bharat Petroleum (Bharat Gas) and Hindustan Petroleum (HP Gas), common domestic consumers are in for a big relief. There has been no change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder, while the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder were increased in the recent review due to festive demand.

During Diwali and Chhath Puja, consumption of commercial gas increases significantly in outside eating, confectionary shops, dhabas and restaurants. Petroleum companies review fuel prices on the 1st of every month based on the benchmark prices of crude oil and LPG in the international energy markets. After October 31, oil companies will issue new monthly rate cards on the morning of November 1. Keeping in view the geopolitical tensions and trend of crude oil prices in the global market, new rates for commercial and domestic gas will be announced in the review to be held tomorrow.
