LPG Price 7 November: Latest prices of gas cylinder released, know the rates of your city

After the price review conducted by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) at the beginning of the month, the situation regarding LPG prices across the country is completely clear on November 7. In this busy festive season, while the consumption of domestic LPG (14.2 kg) has increased due to food and hospitality in homes, there is a huge demand for commercial LPG (19 kg) in sweet shops, restaurants and hotel industry. According to the latest daily price data released by Indian Oil (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL), there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders, giving relief to the kitchen budget of the general public. At the same time, the slight increase in the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder at the beginning of the month is applicable. The relief for domestic consumers has been maintained despite pressure on crude oil and LPG input costs in the international market. Domestic LPG (14.2 kg): Prices have remained stable. The biggest relief news for middle class families is that the prices of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder have remained completely stable in all the major cities of the country. The government and oil companies have kept domestic rates unchanged since the last revision in June 2026. However, their retail prices vary slightly in different states and cities due to local Value Added Tax (VAT) and transportation costs (Freight Charges). The prices of 14.2 kg domestic cylinder today in major cities of the country are as follows: New Delhi: ₹ 942.00 Mumbai: ₹ 941.50 Kolkata: ₹ 968.00 Chennai: ₹ 957.50 Lucknow: ₹ 979.50 Noida: ₹ 939.50 Patna: ₹ 1,031.50 ₹ 300 per cylinder given by the Central Government to the eligible beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY). Subsidies are received directly into bank accounts, making the effective cost for them significantly lower. Commercial LPG (19 kg): Minor impact on hotels and catering during the festive season. Unlike domestic cylinder prices which remained stable, the prices of 19 kg blue commercial LPG cylinders had increased by ₹ 10 to ₹ 17 per cylinder since the beginning of November, which is effective even today. This is the third consecutive month when a slight increase has been seen in the prices of commercial gas. After this increase, the latest prices of 19 kg commercial cylinder in major metros and big cities of the country are as follows: New Delhi: ₹ 2,820.00 (earlier it was ₹ 2,810) Mumbai: ₹ 2,775.00 Kolkata: ₹ 2,971.00 Chennai: ₹ 2,994.50 Lucknow: ₹ 2,932.50 to ₹ 2,942.00 Bengaluru: ₹2,908.00 There has been a slight increase in the input costs of caterers and restaurant operators due to weddings and festive season, although experts believe that this increase is not so much that it will have a big impact on the prices of eating out. International factors and the mathematics of LPG under-recovery According to officials of oil marketing companies, the increase in the LPG contract price (CP) fixed by Saudi Aramco in the international market—especially the global rates of propane and butane—has led to a slight adjustment in the rates in the commercial segment. To save the general public from the brunt of inflation on domestic cylinders, government oil companies are bearing a major part of the cost themselves (under-recovery).
