India LPG tanker Sarv Shakti Crosses Hormuz : New Delhi : There is good news for India amid rising tensions in West Asia. India’s all-powerful LPG tanker has safely exited the Strait of Hormuz. The ship is now on its way to India and has brought a big relief to the country’s gas shortage. The ship has a stock of about 45 thousand tons of LPG.

The US-Iran conflict has been going on for the past two months. A ceasefire is currently in force in both countries, while in Hormuz there is still tension between the units. Due to this, the ships of many countries around the world are stuck in the sea. In such a situation, the Sarva Shakti ship of India has safely made its way with 45 thousand tons of LPG. The ship has safely exited off Iran’s Larak and Kesham islands.
According to the information received, the vessel has strictly complied with all maritime conditions of Iran. A total of 18 Indian sailors were on board this ship. This revealed its identity. Due to which there will be no hindrance to the sailors in their journey.
Gas shortage in the country will be reduced?
Currently, India is facing a massive energy crisis. Disruption of the energy chain in the Middle East has led to shortage of LPG in the country. This has led to queues of people for cylinders. But India has got a big relief because of the safe exit of all forces from Hormuz. According to the information received, the ship will land at Visakhapatnam’s LPG terminal.
According to the information received, currently 14 to 16 ships are stuck in Hormuz and efforts are underway to get them out safely. So far ships Shivalik, Nanda Devi, Jag Ladki, Pine Gas, Jag Vasant, BW Tyre, BW Elm, Green Asha have successfully crossed the Hormuz route. Large quantities of LPG and crude oil are transported to India with the help of these vessels which are very important for India’s domestic energy security.
The safe return of these ships is considered a major strategic victory for India. This has given special importance to India’s diplomatic and strategic efforts at the international level. India’s LPG supply chain will be back on track as soon as all the power comes home.
