Ekana Stadium Fake IPL Ticket: An inter-state gang selling fake IPL tickets has been exposed in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. This gang used to prepare and sell fake tickets from Chat GPT and Coral Draw. Giving information about the accused, Sushant Golf City Police said that one accused has done Polytechnic Diploma and the other is Intermediate pass. Also did 2 and 3-D designing and elevation course through YouTube coaching. Both the accused used to sell fake IPL tickets to people online and near the stadium.

Payment made through UPI

Orai resident Pradeep Singh had come to watch the LSG vs RCB match at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Thursday. Here, outside the stadium, Pradeep bought two tickets for the IPL match from the youth and paid one thousand rupees through UPI. At the stadium gate, the staff checked the barcode of Pradeep’s ticket. The ticket was found to be fake and Pradeep was stopped from entering the stadium. Pradeep complained about this at Sushant Golf City Police Station.

Excitement among Virat’s fans

Fans wanted to buy tickets at any cost to see Virat Kohli perform. Taking advantage of this, the accused made people their victims.

Accused caught from UPI transaction

While giving information, Inspector Rajeev Ranjan Upadhyay of Sushant Golf City police station said that 15 fake IPL match tickets, laptop, paper cutter, car, 14 forged tickets, 13 plain paper sheets, two Aadhar cards, passbooks, three ATM cards and PAN card have been recovered from the accused. Pradeep had made UPI payment to the accused. These accused were exposed. Police caught the accused by tracing his number through UPI transaction.

The accused are residents of Chhattisgarh

Giving information on the case, DCP South Amit Anand said that the four accused have been caught by Sushant Golf City police near Dodankheda intersection. These accused are residents of Durg in Chhattisgarh. Among the accused, Shrikant Borkar works in car washing and designing. The second accused Nutan Sahu has done Polytechnic Diploma in Architecture. The third accused Vishwajeet Sahu is intermediate pass and has done 2 and 3D designing-elevation course through YouTube and coaching, the fourth accused Rajendra Chaudhary is intermediate pass. He also does washing work.
