Lucknow’s promising gymnast, Veronica Verma, performed brilliantly in the state women’s gymnastics competition held at the Eklavya Sports Stadium in Agra under the supervision of the Uttar Pradesh Sports Directorate. Representing the Lucknow division, Veronica showcased her talent and won the bronze medal.
Veronica, who trains regularly at the KD Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow, displayed remarkable balance, rhythm, and flexibility in various events. Her impressive routines and highly controlled landings impressed the judges, securing her third place. It’s Veronica’s consistent dedication to the sport that has ensured her second consecutive year of medals at the state-level competition, firmly establishing herself among the state’s emerging gymnasts. Her gymnastics coach, Ravikant Yadav, expressed his happiness over Veronica’s success and attributed her victory to her hard work, regular practice, and disciplined routine. Regional Sports Officer Dr. Atul Sinha also praised Veronica’s outstanding performance and congratulated her and all the other medal-winning athletes for their bright futures.
