However, an incident in Churu district, Rajasthan, has shaken this trust. Here, a government school teacher has been accused of kidnapping and raping a 16-year-old student.
According to the police, the incident occurred during lunch break. It is alleged that the 35-year-old teacher threatened the student, forcibly took her home on his bike, and raped her there. After returning home, the student told her family what had happened, following which a police complaint was filed. The accused is currently absconding, and several police teams are conducting raids to search for him.

It was reported that after the incident, the student managed to reach home and informed her family. Upon hearing her story, the family immediately contacted the police and filed a complaint against the accused teacher. The police subsequently began investigating the matter.
Under which sections was the case registered?
Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the POCSO Act. The student has been medically examined. A team from the Forensic Science Lab has also inspected the scene and collected necessary evidence. Police say the student’s statement will be recorded before a magistrate soon.

The accused, PTI, has been absconding since the incident. Several police teams are searching various locations to apprehend him. Officials say they are trying to arrest the accused soon and are investigating every aspect of the case.
Protest outside the school
Upon learning of the incident, the student’s family and local residents were deeply outraged. Angry protesters protested outside the government school, locking the main gate and demanding the immediate arrest of the accused. Upon receiving information, police arrived at the scene and spoke with the protesters. Police assured them that the accused would be arrested soon, after which the protest ended. An investigation is currently underway.
