Maa, Mati aur Manush… TMC’s sins will be revealed, Narendra Modi’s sharp attack on Mamata Banerjee

Tezzbuzz Desk – Political excitement has reached its peak before the second and final phase of West Bengal Assembly elections. All the parties are putting in all their strength before the voting to be held on 29th April. In this series, while addressing a large public meeting in North 24 Parganas, Narendra Modi fiercely targeted the Trinamool Congress government.

Targeted at ‘Maa, Mati and Manush’

The Prime Minister said that the same slogans on the basis of which TMC came to power have become uncomfortable for it today. He alleged that the government which talks about “Maa, Mati and Manush” has broken the public trust. According to him, serious questions have been raised in the state regarding women’s safety, land related issues and the condition of common people.

Corruption and attack on law and order

PM Modi raised questions on the functioning of the state government, citing cases like teacher recruitment scam, violence in Panchayat elections and Sandeshkhali. He said that in many cases the court had to intervene, which raises questions on the credibility of the government.

Big promises for women

During the rally, the Prime Minister also made many announcements regarding women. He said that if BJP government is formed in the state, women will be provided free treatment, cancer screening and vaccination facility up to Rs 5 lakh. Also promised financial assistance during pregnancy, financial assistance for daughters’ education and 33 percent reservation in government jobs.

PM Modi claimed that the heavy voting in the first phase has dealt a blow to TMC’s confidence. He said that the public wants change and this trend will become stronger in the second phase.
