Pune : Mini India has introduced its new SUV Mini Countryman C in India. The car will now be manufactured locally at BMW Group’s plant in Chennai as “Made in India”. Bookings for this model have started at all authorized Mini dealers and deliveries will start soon.
Hardeep Singh Brar, Chairman and CEO, BMW Group India, said that the new Mini Countrymancy is a vehicle that offers a unique experience in the modern-day large SUV segment. While presenting the traditional Mini design in SUV form, the identity of the ‘go-kart feeling’ has been retained and the car is suitable for adventure travel and everyday use, he said. He added that manufacturing in India will strengthen the company’s portfolio and provide products at better prices to customers. He also explained that Mini is evolving as a modern and premium brand for today’s urban consumers.

Price and financing facilities
The ex-showroom price of the new Mini Countrymancy has been set at Rs 47.50 lakh. BMW India Financial Services has made attractive financial plans available to customers. It offers facilities like zero down payment and monthly installments of around Rs 56,990. Also, a plan to give 66 percent buyback value if the vehicle is sold for up to three years has also been announced.
