Kawasaki has introduced this new series with three different models. This includes the standard KLX230, a new variant KLX230 S and the pure off-road KLX230R S. The company has designed this lineup in such a way that it can be the choice of everyone, from new riders to professional off-roaders.
Engine and Performance
Talking about the engine, all three bikes of the 2027 KLX230 range have the same powerful engine.
fuel-injected engine
It has a 233 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This engine generates power of 19 hp at 7,800 rpm and torque of 19 Nm at 6,200 rpm.
6-speed gearbox
This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, which gives you excellent control on highways and rough roads.
ground clearance
In this variant, the company has reduced the seat height to 830 mm, whereas the seat of the standard model is 880 mm high. However, due to reduced seat height, its ground clearance has reduced from 255 mm to 220 mm.
price
The off-road KLX230R S is priced at Rs 1.89 lakh. At the same time, the price of both on-road variants KLX230 and KLX230 S has been fixed at Rs 2.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
delivery
If you want to buy it, deliveries of the KLX230R S will start from mid-August 2026.
