Madhya Pradesh: Two students drowned in a pond.

The deceased were identified as Pragyan Vimal and Roshan Baretha.

ujjain, (Language) In Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district, two students of Navodaya Vidyalaya died allegedly by drowning in a pond near the school campus. A police officer gave this information on Tuesday.

The officer said that those living with their families in the school premises 15 year old Pragyan Vimal and 14 Year old Roshan Baretha was missing since Monday evening, After which the police was busy searching for him. Police said that Pragyan Vimal 10Was a student of 7th class while Roshan Baretha was studying in 9th class.

Ghattiya police station in-charge Karan Khowal said that in the preliminary investigation it has been suggested that both of them had gone to take bath in the pond at around 6 pm on Monday evening and during this time they became victims of the accident. On the complaint of the family and the school management, the police started the search late at night and recovered Pragyan’s body in a nearby pond the next morning.

The official said that after this the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) was immediately informed and a rescue operation was launched., Where the body of Roshan Baretha was also recovered in the afternoon. Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Rajaram Karjare said that the police have registered a case and started investigation. Only the facts revealed in the investigation will confirm the cause of death of both the minors.
