Caesarean operation was done on August 1
According to information, Sandhya Sooraj Gaikwad underwent caesarean operation on August 1 at Beed District Hospital. He was discharged from the hospital about four days after the operation. But after returning home, Sandhya started suffering from constant and unbearable stomach pain. The family initially took him to a private hospital for treatment. During the examination, there was a suspicion of having a foreign object in the stomach. The woman was then taken to Pune for further treatment.
A shocking revelation happened during the second surgery in Pune
Sandhya was admitted to Pune’s Sassoon Hospital, where she underwent another surgery. According to the family, gloves and paper napkins were found and removed from the woman’s stomach during the surgery. The family alleged that these items were left in the stomach during a caesarean operation at Beed District Hospital. The family says that the woman’s health has become critical due to this incident. However, the official confirmation of these allegations can be done only after the investigation is completed.
Even after giving birth to the child, the condition of the woman is critical
According to family members, Sandhya gave birth to a child but her health did not improve after delivery. The woman’s husband Sooraj Gaikwad has accused the hospital of alleged negligence. Sandhya’s mother also expressed concern and said that her daughter is not in a position to hold her child properly even after becoming a mother. Sandhya is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital in Pune and the family is worried about her health. On the other hand, questions have also been raised about the hospital’s performance and surgery procedure regarding the incident.
The health department ordered an inquiry
After the incident came to light, the health department of Maharashtra has come into action. According to the District Surgeon, notices have been issued to the concerned lady doctor and hospital staff and an investigation into the entire matter has been initiated. If any evidence of negligence or violation of rules is found during the investigation, strict action will be taken against the responsible persons. The biggest question now is that if the gloves and paper napkins were indeed left in the abdomen during the surgery, why were the surgical materials not counted and verified after the operation? Now the truth of the entire incident will be clear only after the investigation of the health department.
