A major accident took place on Friday during the Tanha Pola fair in Yavatmal district of Maharashtra. The hair of a 25-year-old woman sitting on the Ferris wheel at a fair in Mahagaon taluka got stuck in the rotating bearing of the swing. The swing kept rotating at high speed and due to the hair being pulled, a large part of the woman's scalp was torn off. After the incident, there was chaos among the people present in the fair.
The injured woman has been identified as Bali Maroti Talikote. She is a resident of Phulsanvagi of Yavatmal. It was told that Bali Tanha had come to visit the fair organized on the occasion of Pola festival. A large number of women and children from nearby villages had come to this one-day fair. After the accident, the injured woman was taken to the hospital for treatment.

hair stuck in high speed swing
It was told that Bali was sitting on the seat of the Ferris wheel. Shortly after the swing started, his hair got stuck in the rotating bearing present behind the seat. At that time the swing was rotating at high speed. There was a sudden strong pull on the hair, due to which a large part of the woman's scalp was torn off. After this sudden incident the woman started screaming in pain. Hearing his voice, the attention of the people present around went towards the swing. Seeing the woman soaked in blood, panic spread among the people present there.

Police immediately stopped the swing
As soon as information about the incident was received, the policemen deployed at the fair reached the spot. Assistant Police Inspector Sunil Ambhure and Police Constable Suhas Kayte, with the help of local people, stopped the swing which was rotating rapidly. After the swing stopped, the woman was taken out safely. After this he was taken to the hospital for treatment. Due to the immediate action of the police, the woman was taken out of the swing in time and the situation was prevented from worsening.
