Mahindra Company has released the teaser of its upcoming new electric car 'BE6 Sporteq', which will be officially launched in India on August 15. The new model will get a triple-screen dashboard, dark exterior and a more premium and sporty cabin theme.
Major changes in the cabin and design
- Triple Screen Dashboard: The biggest change to the BE6 Sporteq is the addition of a new 12.3-inch display for the front passenger. Previously there were two 12.3-inch screens for driver information and infotainment, now this third screen gives the dashboard an attractive full-width look.
- Premium Look: As per the teaser, the car gets a 'matte black' finish on the outside and brown upholstery on the inside with illuminated accents. Along with this, red color touch-ups have been used to give a sporty feel.

Size and storage
The design of the car is based on Mahindra's 'INGLO' electric platform.

- Boot Space: It gets 455 liters of rear boot space and 45 liters of 'frunk' storage up front.

battery, Engine and range
The BE6 offers two LFP battery pack options, 59 kWh and 79 kWh.
- Power: A 170 kW electric motor (380 Nm torque) is provided with a small battery. While the 79 kWh battery pack is available in 170 kW or 210 kW options. All versions are 'rear-wheel drive' (RWD).
- Range and Speed: The 59 kWh version offers a MIDC range of 548 km on a single charge, while the 79 kWh version offers a MIDC range of up to 683 km. The top version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds.
- Charging: It charges the battery from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes via DC fast charging.
Hi-tech features and security
The car features 'MAIA' software platform, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor, 24 GB RAM, 5G connectivity and wireless updates. For safety, it has Level 2+ ADAS (Level 2+ ADAS), 8 MP camera and many driver assistance features.
