Jhunjhunu. A major accident took place during road construction in Chapoli of Jhunjhunu District of Rajasthan. The work of building the road leading to Kadam Kund was going on. Meanwhile, the gravel mixing machine got hit by the 11000 Volt power line passing overhead. Information about the death of eight laborers has come to light in the accident. A large number of villagers have gathered at the spot and administrative officials have left for the spot.

Machine collided with 11 thousand volt line
According to preliminary information, construction work was going on on the road leading to Kadam Kund in Chapoli. Meanwhile, the gravel mixing machine collided with an 11 thousand volt power line. The workers working there got electrocuted when the machine came in contact with the power line.
Information about death of eight laborers
According to initial information, eight laborers died in the accident. At the same time, three-four laborers are said to be seriously injured. However, the official number of dead and injured is awaited.
Villagers gathered on the spot, officers left
As soon as information about the accident was received, nearby villagers gathered at the spot in large numbers. Jhunjhunu Collector and Superintendent of Police have also left for the spot. The administration will reach the spot and take stock of the relief and rescue work and the accident situation.
Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma have expressed grief over the matter. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has directed the concerned officials to provide proper treatment to the injured, provide immediate assistance to the affected families and investigate the incident. Both the leaders prayed for peace of the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families. At the same time, Ashok Gehlot demanded an investigation into the accident, fixing of responsibility and giving appropriate compensation to the families of the deceased.
