Big action amid paper leak controversy: 47 officers of National Testing Agency dismissed! More action will be taken against many

New Delhi. Students are protesting against the paper leak and demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Amidst this demonstration, the central government is preparing for major changes and action. Questions were continuously being raised regarding the functioning of the National Testing Agency (NTA). If sources are to be believed, NTA has terminated the services of 47 officers amid these allegations. Legal and criminal action will also be taken against some of these officers. This decision is being considered as part of the comprehensive reforms being done in NTA after the paper leak controversy.

Actually, the aim of the government is to make the functioning of the agency more transparent, accountable and secure, so that the confidence of the students in the national level examinations can be strengthened. According to sources, the ministry may talk about comprehensive reforms in NTA. This possible announcement is going to happen at a time when after the alleged case of 2026 NEET paper leak, questions are being raised on the functioning of NTA and the demand to make the examination system more strong and transparent has intensified.
