The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday ordered a major administrative reshuffle, transferring and posting 49 officials, including IAS and JKAS officers. The orders take immediate effect.
According to the orders, senior IAS officer Shaleen Kabra has been given the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Revenue Department, relieving Kumar Rajeev Ranjan of the responsibility. Kabra will continue to serve as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Jal Shakti Department, and Financial Commissioner, Revenue Department, besides holding the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Estates Department.
Among the other major changes, R. Alice Vaz (IAS: 2005) has been posted as Commissioner Secretary, Transport Department, with additional charge of Civil Aviation, while Saugat Biswas (IAS: 2006) has been posted as Commissioner Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department.
Sarmad Hafeez (IAS: 2009) has been posted as Commissioner Secretary, Youth Services and Sports Department.
Ramesh Kumar (IAS: 2011) has been posted as Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, with additional charge of Culture Department and Resident Commissioner, New Delhi.
Avani Lavasa (IAS: 2013) has been posted as Secretary, Tourism Department, and will continue to hold the charge of Administrative Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department.
Anjali Sehrawat (IAS: 2013) has been posted as Secretary, Public Grievances Department, while Vikas Kundal (IAS: 2013) has been posted as Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, with additional charge of Additional CEO, Jammu Metropolitan Regional Development Authority.
Majid Khalil Ahmed Drabu (IAS: 2013) has been posted as Inspector General of Registration, J&K.

Rakesh Kumar has been posted as Special Secretary, Lok Bhawan; Sachin Jamwal as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua; Sushil Kesar as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Reasi; and Irfan Bahadur as Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), Budgam.
Afroza Bano has been asked to await further orders in the General Administration Department.
