Hamza Arif, a 30-year-old resident of Dhanvantari Nagar, Indore, chose the Indian Army as his career path after completing his electrical engineering studies. He passed a rigorous selection process to become an officer in the Army and, through his hard work, discipline, and leadership skills, earned consistent promotions, reaching the rank of Major. He is currently posted in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

Major Hamza Arif was returning to the military station with two fellow officers after completing his duty late Thursday night. A camel suddenly appeared on the road, causing the vehicle to lose balance. The speeding SUV collided with the camel, rolling over several times and dragging for a considerable distance. The accident was so severe that the vehicle was completely damaged and the camel died on the spot.
The army immediately rushed him to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.
Upon receiving information about the accident, an Army rescue team arrived at the scene and rescued all three officers and took them to the military hospital. Doctors tried their best to save Major Hamza Arif’s life, but due to his serious injuries, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The two Lieutenant officers injured in the accident are undergoing treatment and their condition is being monitored.
