Major organizational reshuffle in Bihar BJP, 14 new state vice presidents appointed, 7 cell presidents also changed
Bihar BJP has made a major organizational change before the assembly elections. While announcing the new team on Friday, the party handed over responsibilities to new faces on many important posts. In this list released on the instructions of BJP National President Nitin Naveen, 14 state vice presidents, five state general secretaries and 14 state ministers have been appointed. Apart from this, presidents of various fronts have also been changed.
Big responsibility to Haribhushan Thakur Bachaul
In the new list, former MLA Haribhushan Thakur Bachaul has been given the first place in the list of state vice presidents. It is believed that the party has taken this decision keeping in mind the equation of Mithilanchal and backward classes.
Apart from them, Rakesh Kumar, Santosh Pathak, Manoj Kumar Singh, Anamika Paswan, Shobha Singh, Pawan Jaiswal, Pranav Kumar Yadav, Santosh Ranjan Rai, Nand Prasad Chauhan, Anil Thakur, Mukesh Verma, Sheela Kushwaha and Balram Mandal have also been made state vice presidents.
Changes in Mahila Morcha and Yuva Morcha
BJP has also made major changes in its various fronts. MLA Nisha Singh has been made the new president of Mahila Morcha. Earlier this responsibility was being handled by Dharamshila Gupta.
The command of Yuva Morcha has now been handed over to Jitendra Singh. Earlier this post was with Bhartendu Mishra. The party has made Ram Sumiran Singh the president of Kisan Morcha, while the responsibility of OBC Morcha has been given to Minister Pramod Chandravanshi.
MLA Sujit Paswan has been made the president of the Scheduled Caste Morcha, while the command of the Scheduled Tribe Morcha has been handed over to Niranjan Panjiyar Tharu. Mahbul Haq’s name has come up as the President of Minority Morcha.
Five new state general secretaries appointed
BJP has also given a chance to new leaders on the post of State General Secretary. In the new list, Saroj Ranjan Patel, Dhanraj Sharma, Preeti Shekhar, Nitin Abhishek and Rajesh Jha alias Raju Jha have been made state general secretaries. Apart from this, 14 leaders have been given the responsibility of state ministers. These include Sushma Sahu, Janmejay Kumar Singh, Ragini Rani, Kumar Raghavendra, Prabhakar Mishra, Anjani Nishad, Manoj Chaudhary, Mukesh Singh Kushwaha, Seema Jha, Sarla Rajak, Sunil Ram, Sanjay Kumar Munna, Mukesh Sharma and Diwakar Singh.
Preparation to strengthen organization before elections
Political experts believe that BJP has tried to maintain caste and regional balance keeping in mind the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. By giving a bigger role to OBC, Dalit, women and youth faces in the organization, the party has clearly indicated that it wants to strengthen its hold up to the booth level.
Along with this, MLA Trivikram Narayan Singh has been made the state treasurer, while Rajesh Singh and Ankur Gupta have been given the responsibility of co-treasurers. Akshay Kumar has been appointed state headquarters in-charge and Vinay Kesari has been appointed office minister.
