Shimla. A tragic road accident shocked residents in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district on Saturday morning. A private bus suddenly lost control and fell off the road on the Bairagarh-Tisa road. At least seven people were killed and 11 passengers were injured. The accident erupted in chaos at the scene.
According to reports, the accident occurred around 7:15 a.m. The private bus was traveling on the Bairagarh-Tisa road when it lost control and fell onto a road below. Following the accident, local residents immediately assisted in rescue and relief operations. Police and rescue teams arrived at the scene upon receiving information about the accident. Passengers were evacuated from the crashed bus and the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment. Eleven injured are receiving treatment. Doctors are monitoring the condition of some of the injured. Police have taken possession of the bodies of those who lost their lives and initiated necessary action. At present, the exact cause of the accident remains unclear. Initially, it appears the bus lost control, but the circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
