Will India go without any player in 86 kg category?
After Mukul Dahiya’s failure in the dope test, it is believed that India may have to go without any player in the 86 kg category in the Asian Games 2026. Let us tell you, the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) had sent the list of final players to the Indian Olympic Association in the first week of June itself, hence now due to the end of the deadline, it is considered almost difficult to replace Mukul Dahiya with any other wrestler.
Let us tell you, this is the second case related to doping in Indian wrestling in recent times. Earlier, Greco-Roman wrestler Dipanshu was also found positive in the out-of-competition dope test, after which the National Anti-Doping Agency also suspended him.
