Material
- Oats-1 cup
- Almonds-½ cup
- Walnuts-½ cup
- Dates – 8-10 seeds removed
- Flax seeds – 2 tbsp
- Pumpkin seeds-2 tbsp
- Cardamom powder-1 tsp
- Desi ghee-1 tablespoon
Method
- 1-First of all, lightly heat a pan and fry the oats in it for 3-4 minutes. When the oats become lightly crunchy, take them out and let them cool.
- 2-After this, lightly fry almonds, walnuts, flax seeds and pumpkin seeds.
- 3-Now put roasted oats, almonds and walnuts in the mixer and grind them coarsely. Cut the dates into small pieces.
- 4-Heat some ghee in a pan and add dates in it and stir for 2 minutes so that they become soft.
- After this, add the ground mixture, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds and cardamom powder to the dates.
- 5-Mix everything well. When the mixture cools down a bit, apply some ghee on your hands and make small laddus.
Why are these laddus special?
Refined sugar is not used in these laddus. Dates provide natural sweetness, while oats and dry fruits are rich in fiber, protein, and healthy fats. Flaxseed and pumpkin seeds, along with providing essential nutrients to the body, are also considered beneficial for heart health.
