Materials:

  • Shevay’s pudding
  • jaggery
  • dry fruits
  • ghee
  • raisin
  • Saffron
  • Cardamom powder
  • milk

Action:

  • To make sevaya kheer first, heat ghee in a kadai. Add chopped vermicelli to hot ghee and fry till it turns red.
  • After that, remove vermicelli and fry dry fruits in it. Roast raisins in ghee too.
  • Add ghee to the pan and once again add vermicelli and mix lightly and add a bowl of milk and mix.
  • While making kheer, add milk as needed and take it off the boil. After cooking vermicelli, add grated jaggery to it.
  • After the jaggery is completely mixed in the vegetables, add ground cardamom powder, saffron sticks and roasted dry fruits and mix well.
  • Jaggery thick pudding made in simple method is ready.
