Mallikarjun Kharge roared after the meeting of India Alliance, said – ‘We will fight, we will move forward…’

New Delhi. After the marathon meeting of India Alliance, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge gave a big political message against the BJP government. Said that today a meeting of our India Alliance was held, in which 25 parties participated. Everyone gave their opinions in the meeting and consensus was reached on five issues. We will work hard on these, we will fight and move forward. Announcing that the next meeting will be held in Hyderabad on August 8, he said that the alliance will write a letter to the Chief Justice. Demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, he said that we will continue to raise issues of economic situation, unemployment and inflation. Terming the NEET paper leak as a betrayal of the youth, Kharge said that people of the alliance will meet during the monsoon session also.

Mallikarjun Kharge said that the first point is that it was agreed to send a letter regarding SIR to the Chief Justice of India. A letter will be given to the Chief Justice regarding vote theft and election theft.

Attacks on Constitution continue: Mallikarjun Kharge

In the meeting, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge said that attacks on the Constitution are continuing and investigative agencies are being used to harass opposition leaders. The economic environment is weak and investment is not coming at the expected pace, which is affecting employment. He said that there was mismanagement in the examination system, which has affected the expectations of lakhs of youth. On 17 April 2026, all the opposition parties united in the Lok Sabha and played a role in defeating the bills related to delimitation. There is a need to strengthen this unity further.

Preparation to corner the government on inflation and unemployment

Kharge said that the economic situation, inflation and unemployment were also discussed in detail in the meeting. He alleged that the life of common people in the country is becoming difficult, but the government does not seem serious on these issues. The opposition says rising prices and unemployment have affected the youth and middle class the most. INDIA Bloc has decided that a joint campaign will be conducted on these issues in the coming months. Opposition parties believe that these issues can prove to be decisive in the coming elections.

Questions also raised on foreign policy and voter rights

In the meeting, Kharge also raised questions on the foreign policy of the central government. He said that India’s traditional foreign policy has weakened and the country’s position at the international level has been affected. Apart from this, he raised the issue of SIR process and alleged that crores of people are being deprived of voting rights. The opposition said that to keep democracy strong, it is necessary for the electoral process to be transparent and fair. The alliance has also decided to write a letter to the Chief Justice regarding this matter.

Will the opposition now hold a big meeting every two months?

Kharge announced that the next meeting of the INDIA block will be held in Hyderabad on August 8. He said that the alliance will now meet every two months so that coordination among all the parties remains strong. Opposition leaders claimed that the opposition had proved its unity by defeating the Constitution Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha on April 17, 2026. Now that unity will be taken forward. It was also decided in the meeting that a common strategy would be made against the BJP government inside and outside the Parliament.

Preparations for 2029 war begin

Political experts believe that India Bloc no longer wants to be limited to Parliament only, but has also started preparations for the 2029 Lok Sabha elections. Opposition parties are continuously emphasizing on common issues and joint campaigns. Kharge said that every attempt to suppress the public voice will be responded to democratically. Through the meeting, the opposition tried to give the message that the fight against BJP will now be fought more aggressively.
