Mamta Didi got the biggest shock in Delhi! TMC started breaking in Parliament, veteran MP suddenly resigned

New Delhi: A very important meeting of the opposition ‘INDIA’ alliance was about to take place, but just before that, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee got a big and unexpected blow in Delhi. The ongoing internal feud among Trinamool Congress (TMC) MPs has now come out openly on the streets. It is reported that on Monday, senior TMC Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Shekhar Ray has suddenly resigned from both his post and the party.

This is the first time in the politics of West Bengal after the rebellion of the MLAs, that Mamata Banerjee has suffered such a big blow directly in the country’s capital i.e. Delhi. Interestingly, Mamata Banerjee herself had already admitted that there was dissatisfaction and resentment among some MPs. This entire incident has come to light at a time when the strength of Mamata Banerjee’s party in the West Bengal Assembly seems to be continuously decreasing.

Now the effect of rebellion of MLAs is beginning to be seen on MPs also.

MP Sukhendu Shekhar Ray had given a clear indication last Friday that the recent rebellion of MLAs in Bengal may have a direct impact on the party’s MPs as well. This big statement of Ray has come at a time when, just a few days ago, a large group of Trinamool Congress MLAs had opened a front against the top leadership of their own party within the Assembly. These rebel MLAs have also gained effective control over the legislature party, which is being considered as the biggest organizational and political crisis since the formation of Trinamool Congress.

Resentment increased due to arbitrary attitude of Abhishek Banerjee!

Rebel TMC MLA and deputy leader of the party’s new legislature party Sandipan Saha has given a big statement on this entire controversy. He had already said, “I think a similar development is going on within the parliamentary party in New Delhi. All this is happening only because of Abhishek Banerjee’s arbitrary attitude and dictatorship.”

TMC MPs themselves were surprised to see the speed of the rebellion

During a special conversation with a leading TV channel, Sukhendu Shekhar Ray said that the speed and scale with which the dissatisfaction of the leaders has come to the fore in the Bengal Assembly is completely unprecedented. He said in a warning tone that in the coming months its direct and big impact can be clearly visible within the Lok Sabha also. Ray said, “I have never seen in my entire political career that such a large number of MLAs take a different stand from the party in such a short time. Whatever is happening in Bengal today, its impact can be seen in the Lok Sabha also.” Let us tell you that at present Trinamool Congress has 28 MPs in the Lok Sabha and 13 in the Rajya Sabha.

Sensing the crisis, Mamata had already sent Abhishek Banerjee to Delhi.

The most important thing in this entire political incident is that on Saturday itself, TMC National General Secretary and Lok Sabha MP Abhishek Banerjee suddenly left for Delhi. According to information received quoting sources, party chief Mamata Banerjee herself, in view of the seriousness of the situation, had instructed her nephew Abhishek Banerjee to go to Delhi a day before the scheduled time. However, other big leaders of the party appeared completely uncertain and surprised about the programs and meetings scheduled by Abhishek Banerjee in Delhi on Sunday.

There is a strong discussion in political circles that this big rebellion within TMC was actually against the growing influence of Abhishek Banerjee in the organization and his decisions. Dissatisfied and rebel leaders of the party had informally named this internal rebellion as ‘Operation Crown Prince’. Now there are heated discussions in the political circles from Kolkata to Delhi that efforts are being made behind the scenes to create a similar big rift in the parliamentary party of the party.
