Bigg Boss 20 saw a surprise mid-week eviction, with Manoj Tiwari’s daughter Rhiti Tiwari exiting the house before Salman Khan could weigh in during the weekend episode.
The eviction came after the house’s three captaincy contenders were asked in the confession room to name the contestant who had contributed least to the game. While Mahhi named Mary Kom and Yung DSA picked Aman Gandhi, Uditi named Rhiti, with the others agreeing.
Uditi said she found Rhiti’s personality “confusing,” pointing to her sudden shift in behaviour towards Qazi Touqeer.
The row traces back to last week, when Rhiti declared she hated Qazi and hurled abuses at him during a diss battle, even accusing him of charging at her physically.
Instead of backing her, Salman had called out her language and attitude, praising Qazi and Uditi for handling the situation better.
The 60-year-old host had said, “Qazi has gracefully handled all the insults; he has done it all for 20 years. But you, Rhiti, you think you are a rockstar, but no one thinks so…
You are Manoj Tiwari’s daughter… people will say it is nepotism. Now, this is the result of your father’s hard work. From now on, it depends on you… Aapke father actor nahi, politician hain. But I don’t think any father would entertain that.”
Fans reacted strongly to her eviction. One wrote, “She was actually improving despite not playing but well, you need to contribute to this game and being nice doesn’t help.”
Another simply wrote, “Finally, sukoon.” Others called it rigged, with one commenting, “This show is blatantly biased atp,” while some speculated she might reappear via a secret room, or that her family had pushed for her exit to “save their reputation.”
