During the press conference, National General Secretary of Congress and in-charge of Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Syed Nasir Hussain formally welcomed the three leaders into the party.
Introducing the new members, the Congress said in another post: “Today, from Ladakh to Kanyakumari, the people of the country are expressing confidence in the leadership of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi. We welcome everyone with open hearts.”
After joining Congress, Priyanka Kakkade said, “Today I am joining Congress with great pride because I want the same Delhi in which I have grown up. A green, clean, progressive and safe Delhi. After more than a decade of experience in Indian politics, I firmly believe that only Congress can do this. If there is an honest and fighting leader in the country, it is Rahul Gandhi.”
I left the party in such a way because this is the same party which had told the public – we will not take cars for bungalows… but later started using chartered helicopters for personal travel.
Rahul Gandhi ji is fighting against 'vote theft' today. He showed us all that people's votes are being stolen. He showed the public that Gyanesh Kumar was 'stealing votes' and throwing them in the hands of Narendra Modi.
Today, on this occasion, I would like to thank all those leaders who made me a part of their family, Priyanka Kakkade had said after joining Congress.
