Married woman died due to drinking acid, buried without post mortem, body taken out from grave after allegations by her parents

Khargon: The matter has become serious after the suspicious death of a married woman in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh. Neelofar, a resident of Mohan Talkies area, died after drinking acid. The parents lodged a complaint with the police accusing the in-laws. After this, on the orders of the SDM, the buried body was taken out of the grave and post-mortem was conducted.

Nilofar's brother Farhan Shaikh and mother Ayesha told that between 1.30 and 2 pm on Saturday afternoon, the family got information that Nilofar had consumed acid. As soon as the information was received, the family started taking him to the hospital in Indore for treatment. However, he died near Kasrawad village. After Nilofar's death, the maternal side raised many questions regarding the entire matter. The family lodged a complaint with the police and made serious allegations against the in-laws and demanded an impartial investigation into the matter.

Accusation of burying dead body without post mortem

The family members allege that after the incident, pressure was put on them in the hospital and some papers were made to be signed. They claim that the body was brought home without post-mortem and was later buried. The maternal side says that the in-laws buried the body in a hurry. After receiving the complaint, the administration took the matter seriously and decided to take out the body again.

Dead body taken out from grave on orders of SDM

According to Sub Inspector Rajendra Sirsath of Kotwali police station, Nilofar's body was taken out from the cemetery on Sunday on the orders of the SDM. During this, Tehsildar Jagar Rawat and police station in-charge BL Mandloi were also present. Panchnama of the dead body was prepared in the presence of officials. After this the body was sent to the district hospital, where its post-mortem was conducted. The police have started investigating the matter and all aspects related to the incident are being looked into.

At present, the real reason behind Nilofar's death is not completely clear. Police will take further action on the basis of post mortem report and other evidence. Only after the report comes, it will be known what was the real cause of death and how much truth is there in the allegations made by the family members.
